Be proactive. Identify what is the next step you can do amend what worries you from the past or to avoid what makes you feel anxious about the future. If there is none, then just say to yourself “this is nothing to me” and let it go. If there’s something you can do right now, do it and let the output to fate.

Great article Chuck! That exercise is fantastic - so simple and frames the mind in precisley the way I want it to be. I've been reading Meditations recently and I found Marcus' framing of the future in this quote really insightful:

7.8: Forget the future. When and if it comes, you’ll have the same resources to draw on—the same logos.

It emphasizes the importance of developing inner strength and resilience to face life's uncertainties, rather than fixating on what might happen down the line. This framing has stuck with me, steering me quickly to the present if my mind goes wandering too far. Thanks for the article Chuck.
